Assessment
|
Psychological assessment is a process of comprehensive evaluation that investigates a variety of concerns. Assessments provide information about a person's strengths and areas of need relating to thinking, learning, behavior and/or social-emotional functioning. Such an evaluation may assist in clarifying a diagnostic profile to inform recommendations for support. A psychological assessment has several components including the administration of standardized tools along with interviews, observations, review of pertinent documents, and consultation. Our psychologists undertake assessments based on self, school, and/or medical referral.
